Atlantic Park Recognized Among Virginia Business Mag’s Top Projects & Real Estate Deals

Atlantic Park has been recognized among Virginia Business magazine’s “Top Projects & Real Estate Deals.” Venture Realty Group, the project’s developer, and W.M. Jordan Company, its contractor, also received the magazine’s “Best of the Best” honors in their respective categories.

Virginia Business magazine’s annual list recognizes projects that contribute to Virginia’s built environment based on factors including scale, complexity, creativity, construction techniques and sustainability. The 29 projects selected for achievements made in 2025 were recognized during an awards ceremony at Independence Golf Club in Midlothian, Virginia.

“Atlantic Park is the direct result of pure determination and persistence among the 40 consulting firms and more than 250 individuals who have diligently worked on bringing this first-of-its-kind development to life,” said Brittany Baer Albert, Development & Operations Manager at Venture Realty Group. “This project hits close to home for our entire Virginia-based team, and we’re immensely proud to see it be enjoyed by visitors from all over the globe.”

Atlantic Park opened North America’s first Wavegarden Cove surf lagoon in August 2025. The development includes surfing, dining, shopping and entertainment venues, 309 residential units at Atlantic Park Living and the 20-room boutique hotel, The Sitio. According to the release, the venue has welcomed visitors from all 50 U.S. states and more than 30 countries.

Atlantic Park is a public-private partnership involving the City of Virginia Beach, the Virginia Beach Development Authority, Venture Realty Group, Pharrell Williams, W.M. Jordan Company, Bishard Development and Priority Title/H20 Investments. OVG360 and Live Nation operate and program The Dome by Rutter Mills.
