In the latest flurry of surf park commercial expansion, URBNSURF has entered into a partnership with Harvey Norman as the brand becomes the official lifestyle and outdoor furniture partner of URBNSURF.
The partnership applies to both URBNSURF Melbourne and Sydney locations as Harvey Norman will supply outdoor furniture for both wave pools’ non-surfing areas. For those outside of Australia, Harvey Norman is a retailer of furniture, bedding, communications, and consumer electrical products.
URBNSURF said the goal is to create comfortable, communal areas to encourage guests to linger after surf sessions.
“We’re incredibly excited to partner with Harvey Norman,” said URBNSURF’s Head of Strategic Partnerships, James Miles. “They’ve supported surfing in Australia for a long time, and we’ve shared some incredible moments over the years with their ambassador, Sally Fitzgibbons. Together, we’re looking forward to elevating the guest experience and enhancing those moments outside of the lagoon that are such a big part of the URBNSURF experience.”

Australian surf culture has deep roots in surf culture, competition and professionalism. A home goods store backing surfers and surfing is not that unusual. Pro and Harvey Norman ambassador Sally Fitzgibbons spoke about her personal connection to the brand and the outdoors.
“Nature is where I feel most at home, whether I’m in the ocean or spending time outdoors with my family,” said Sally. “Harvey Norman outdoor furniture helps me create a space to unwind, connect and enjoy those moments beyond the waves. It’s about bringing comfort and quality into the moments that matter most.”
