Aventuur has appointed Ryan Brady as the company’s new Controller, adding to its expanding executive team. The appointment, announced Tuesday, aligns with the surf park developer’s broader focus on long-term financial scalability and operational excellence.
According to Aventuur, Brady will be responsible for “developing and implementing strong systems of financial controls and infrastructure, enabling sustainable growth, real-time analysis, and timely, accurate financial reporting.”
Before joining Aventuur, Brady held finance roles across the entertainment, automotive tech, and real estate sectors. His previous experience includes Live Nation Entertainment and Danny Wimmer Presents, where he managed financial reporting and analytics for large-scale music festivals and venue operations.
He also served in finance roles at the Icon Group, an automotive technology company, and The Carlyle Group, where he worked in real estate and property management.
Aventuur stated that Brady’s appointment is aimed at reinforcing internal systems as the company continues to scale its surf park developments. The company has several artificial wave projects underway globally, including locations in Perth, Auckland, and Queensland.
Outside of his professional life, Brady is described as a lifelong surfer, climber, skier, and fisherman. “On his time off you’ll usually find him either in the ocean or up in the mountains,” the company shared in a release.
Brady’s addition follows several key hires by Aventuur over the past year, reflecting ongoing momentum in the competitive surf park development sector. For more context on industry growth, see How Surf Parks Are Scaling Financially or browse recent Wave Pool Executive Moves.
