The Wave has announced its Summer Sets programme for July and August 2026, featuring live music, surfboard demo days, fitness sessions, community events and the opening of new camping accommodation.
The programme includes weekly live music performances by Bristol artists on Sundays throughout July and August. The free events begin at 1 p.m. and will feature indie, acoustic, house and R&B acts.
The Wave will open a new accommodation area, The Field at The Wave, on July 1. Guests will be able to pitch tents, bring campervans or book bell tents. Grass pitches will cost £30 per night and bell tents with two single beds and bed linen will cost £80 per night.
The venue has also introduced Summer Surf Pilates sessions led by Chessy. The classes are scheduled for July 18 and Aug. 15 at 9 a.m. and are designed to support paddling, popping up and balance. Places cost £12 and require advance booking.

The Wave has launched The Wave Academy, a surf progression programme offering day, weekend, week-long and six-week courses for children and adults. Courses will run during the summer holidays and September. Prices range from £150 for children’s courses and £160 for adult courses to £520 for children and £550 for adults, depending on course type.
Free surfboard Demo Days will take place on July 30 and Aug. 27. Surfers with booked sessions will be able to test boards from Firewire and Torq during their surf sessions, subject to availability.
The Monthly Mix Up programme will continue through the summer. A Barrels Medley 2.0 wave setting will run at 6 p.m. on Fridays in July, followed by a Longboarders session at 7 p.m. August session details will be announced later in July.
The Wave, located near Bristol and powered by Wavegarden Cove technology, operates a 180-metre surf lake capable of producing up to 1,000 waves per hour. Beginner surf lessons start from £44 for children and £50 for adults, while one-hour surf sessions start from £50 for children and £55 for adults. Equipment, including wetsuits, boots and surfboards, is included in the session price.
