Lost Shore teases pre-launch holiday event with surf lessons and overnight stays in luxury lodges

On the eve of Lost Shore’s official unveiling, the wave pool has aired a few teasers of upcoming events, most notably the “Lost Feast.”

Lost Shore Surf Resort, Scotland’s first inland surf resort, will launch “The Lost Feast,” a festive dining experience, from December 4 to December 20, 2024. The event will feature an indoor winter woodland theme, including a sharing menu prepared by Glasgow’s Five March restaurant and a selection of festive cocktails.

Guests will begin with a welcome cocktail around outdoor fire pits before entering a decorated dining area. The experience will also offer options for surf lessons and overnight stays in luxury lodges.

Additionally, Lost Shore will introduce “The Lost Cinema,” screening classic holiday films in an immersive setting. Guests can enjoy food and beverages from the resort’s restaurant, Canteen.

Lauren Hyder, Head of Events and Sales at Lost Shore, noted the growing demand for unique festive experiences. The resort will also host an opening festival in October, marking its official launch.

The wave pool is located in Ratho, 25 mins from the centre of Edinburgh and its facilities, and includes Europe’s largest wave pool. Lost Shore is set within extensive grounds with luxury accommodation, waterfront bar, café and restaurant, surf schools, surf shop, The Surfskate Academy and wellness treatments.
