Wave Pool Partnerships: Automotive Brands Named for Sydney & Melbourne

In another example of how surf parks are becoming massive marketing vehicles, URBNSURF has announced a partnership with Jeep Australia and Leapmotor Australia. The deal appoints both as official automotive partners across its surf parks in Melbourne and Sydney.

Under the agreement, Jeep and Leapmotor vehicles will be featured across both locations, including onsite activations, family dwell spaces, and designated family zones. The partnership also includes an expansion of URBNSURF’s Digital Wave Selector and integrated vehicle displays.

The collaboration will include surf events and competitions, product showcases, interactive experiences, electric vehicle charging access where applicable, and offers for members and guests.

Head of Jeep Australia Chris Leroy said the partnership reflects the brand’s positioning.

“Jeep has always stood for freedom, adventure, and embracing the outdoors,” said Chris. “Our partnership with URBNSURF brings these values to life in an environment built for fun, connection and community. Jeep has been part of outdoor culture for decades and this collaboration extends that presence into surf park environments.”

Head of Leapmotor Australia Andy Hoang said the partnership supports the company’s entry into the local market and that the partnership provides an opportunity to present the vehicles in a lifestyle setting aligned with the brand.
