Perth Surf Park is expected to produce first waves in 2024

The largest surf park in the Southern Hemisphere is one step closer to its first waves today, with global surf park creator Aventuur announcing it has signed a long-term ground lease with the Western Australian Planning Commission for the site of the Perth Surf Park. The $100m surf park will be Western Australia’s first, and is set to become a major tourism, entertainment and sporting destination for Perth. Expected to welcome 300,000+ visitors annually, the Perth Surf Park will create over 260 jobs during construction, and contribute upwards of $250m to the Western Australian economy over the life of the project.
