Over the years we’ve had the privilege to surf, dine, hang and talk story with Chris Monroe, the entity behind Beefs TV. Chris doubles as marketing guru at CatchSurf, the softboard brand found more and more frequently at wave pools around the world. Chris’ marketing strategy is deceptively simple: Shoot the most fun surfers in the world (Kalani Robb, Blair Conklin, Clay Marzo) riding their product in heavy or novelty conditions and post to his YouTube channel. Each clip is a candid from-the-beach capture of a memorable session peppered with catchphrases like “smokified!”
