The Sitio hotel in Virginia Beach, Virginia, has introduced “apres surf” dining offerings with the opening of The Sunroom, according to a recent announcement.
The Sunroom is a bar and lounge located within the 20-room boutique hotel at Atlantic Park. It serves both a morning menu and an “apres surf” menu and overlooks a Wavegarden Cove surf lagoon. Dining is available daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Access to The Sunroom is limited to hotel guests and private event bookings.
“Much like The Sitio itself, The Sunroom is small in size and big on intention,” said Lacy Peterson, the hotel’s General Manager. “Nestled above the Atlantic Park surf lagoon, The Sunroom provides guests with a dining experience–and view– not found anywhere else on the Virginia Beach oceanfront.”

Menu items include overnight oats, papaya parfait, cured salmon tartare, tuna carpaccio, and dark chocolate mousse. Beverage options include cocktails, mocktails, coffee, juices, and functional waters.
“This menu captures some of Virginia Beach’s best seasonal ingredients, pairs them with flavors from other beloved surf destinations around the world, and serves them with the best view in town,” said Chef Jesse Wykle, who leads the culinary program at The Sunroom and operates Hola Snacks at Atlantic Park.
The Sitio opened in March as part of the Atlantic Park development. Seasonal rates start at $369/night in the off-season and $569/night in-season. Learn more at thesitiovb.com, or follow @thesitiovb.
