Surf Park Management has announced the launch of a public survey to help canvas the market to assess the demand for a public surf park venue in the Victoria region.
“Surf Park Management is currently doing a feasibility study for a very experienced development group who also have a deep passion for the sport of surfing and want to bring a world class surf park to southern Vancouver Island,” said Skip Taylor, partner in Surf Park Management.
“Although many surf parks around the world have proven to be great success stories, we are looking a small market base of just under 400,000 people in Victoria and no data exists on surfing in Canada that would show demand levels, so our hope is to help show there is a strong desire for a surf park venue that would supported by both local surfers as well as those who may travel to visit.”
The survey can be found at this link. For those who do the survey, there will be a draw for a CAD $500 visa gift card. The survey will be open through October 15th and all surfers and those interested in learning to surf, especially from Vancouver Island, Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest are invited to participate in the survey.
