Surf Park Jobs: Global Hiring Platform Launches

A new online hiring platform focused on the surf and surf park sector has launched with the aim of replacing what its founders describe as “today’s sporadic-at-best surf park recruitment systems.”

ShorelineJobs was developed by Bruno Gujer of Consul8 and Alaïa Bay, human resources strategist Paolo Formenti and Bryan Dickerson, founder of WavePoolMag. The platform expands on the existing WavePoolJobs board and targets employers and job seekers in surfing, wave pools, foiling, adventure tourism and related lifestyle brands.

The founders say the global surf park industry has grown exponentially since the pre-COVID era and needs a space to accommodate the hiring needs of technology companies, surf parks and destination developers. However today, the current landscape continues to rely on general job boards.

“Traditional job platforms are the fax machines of recruitment,” Formenti said. “We needed a solution that empowers both candidates and employers more intentionally and internationally.”

ShorelineJobs includes an AI-based career tool designed to assist applicants with career planning, resume development and interview preparation. Employers can create job listings, manage applicants and use structured interview tools intended to improve hiring decisions.

The platform launches alongside WavePoolJobs.com, which will focus specifically on wave pool and surf park positions. Both sites operate under a shared login and technology system.

Gujer of Consul8 said the project grew from a relaunch of WavePoolJobs into a broader effort to build a dedicated employment network for the surf park economy.

“We’re building something that truly supports the community—both in and out of the water,” he said. “It’s about helping people turn their surf lifestyle into a fulfilling career.”
