November can be tough in the Northern Hemisphere as the warm glow of summer fades with the daylight hours. Shrewd ave pools regularly tweak their offerings to keep up throughput in the waning season. Australia doesn’t have that problem. In fact, Sydney is now open for a full 18 hours of surfing this month.
We’ve gathered some of the deals, sessions, and minor miracles keeping the surf-park circuit pumping after Halloween.
Munich Offers Free Sessions to River Surfers
The biggest and most creative promo so far goes to Munich for offering river surfers a free session in November, until the Eisbach comes back to life. To show solidarity with Munich surfers, O₂ SURFTOWN MUC is offering all Eisbach surfers a free surf session at O₂ SURFTOWN MUC until the end of November.
Surfers can choose any wave setting and level. The only requirement is to create an account at the surf park and to submit a photo of themselves surfing the Eisbach, E2, or Floßlände river waves. Photos will be cross-referenced with ID cards. Full information at this link.

Lost Shore Surf Resort Launches Shuttle Bus and Kitchen
Lost Shore Surf Resort has introduced two new amenities this month. The first is the launch of the Lost Shore Surf Bus, an electric shuttle connecting the resort to central Edinburgh. Operated in partnership with Ember, the service begins November 5 with a daily schedule and additional service added November 26.
The second addition is Lost Kitchen, a food service venue on site offering a new menu focused on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. No launch date has been announced. A film screening on Scottish surfing is scheduled for later this month. The event is free with advance reservation. More information at this link

The Wave Bristol Hosts Free Demo Day
On November 29, The Wave Bristol will host a free surfboard demo day in partnership with Boardshop. Brands featured include Firewire, Torq, Tiki, and Lib Tech. Attendees can test boards during their session and consult with brand representatives on site. Boardshop will also operate a one-day trade-in program for used boards. The first 50 surfers to book a session that day will receive a Yeti Rambler 30oz Tumbler.

URBNSURF Extends Surf Hours and Launches Coaching Program
URBNSURF has adjusted its operating hours for both its Melbourne and Sydney locations. Melbourne will begin early morning sessions at 6 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday starting November 10. Sydney will now run sessions until midnight every Friday and Saturday.
