BSR temporarily closes under Shelter in Place order
At the onset of government, action to help curb the Coronavirus The Wave in Bristol shut its doors followed by Urbnsurf a week later. Today, BSR Surf Resort announced they will be closing during the pandemic following county orders to shelter in place.
“BSR is temporarily closed until April 6th,” the company said via Instagram. “Closure is due to the countywide ‘Shelter in Place’ that has been ordered for McLennan county. Please know that we are doing our best to notify all of our guests that have bookings during this time.”
BSR said that guests with bookings will receive a credit for their session that can be used once the wave pool reopens.
“Guests that have purchased any of our packages and have booked sessions during this time, your sessions will be canceled and those credits will be added back to your code for future bookings.”
The surf park stated that guests who have purchased packages with date restrictions will get those sessions credited. BSR Surf Resort added that they will work on extending the dates of usage.
The company said that sessions are still available to book April 7th – May 31st. You can followup at the BSR website here.
