Flowstate Launches AI-Powered Video Capture, Coaching, and Instant Replay at Revel Surf in Mesa, Arizona

Flowstate has officially launched its AI-powered video and photography system at Revel Surf Park, located at Cannon Beach in Mesa, Arizona. The set up provides surfers with automated video capture, AI-driven photography, coaching insights, and instant video replay.

AI-Powered Surf Photography and Video

Flowstate utilizes advanced AI computer vision technology to record and analyze surfers’ performance in real time. The platform delivers a content package that includes professional-grade videos and AI-generated photography, allowing surfers to review and share their sessions.

“Flowstate is super excited to be working with Revel Surf to bring the full suite of the Flowstate platform,” said Luke Wallace, Founder of Flowstate. “The system will supercharge the customer experience, drive the performance of surfers with our video analysis and coaching software, enable their operations team to have eyes on the water at all times with live streaming and make informed decisions with data and analytics.”

This launch follows a year of significant growth for Flowstate. In 2024, the company expanded its AI-driven photography and video services across multiple surf parks, including Fireside Surf Dallas, URBNSURF Sydney, and The Wave in Bristol, UK. The integration of AI-powered still photography alongside video capture became a top-selling product at these locations. Additionally, Flowstate introduced a redesigned website featuring live streaming, multi-camera setups, an admin center, and a more comprehensive coaching platform.

Flowstate’s CEO, Luke Wallace, emphasized that this development is part of the company’s shift towards a comprehensive enterprise solution, providing wave pool operators with more control over their content and data.

“We love to break down barriers and do things for the first time, and when you see a team who are designing their own unique wave making technology, developing and operating their own surf park, we want to be a part of that!,” said Luke Wallace, Founder of Flowstate. “It’s only a matter of time till we see the real-life Rick Kane come out of the Arizona surf scene.” – Luke Wallace, Founder of Flowstate

Flowstate’s video capture platform is now operational at Revel Surf, ensuring that surfers can document, analyze, and share their performances. Revel’s Matt Gunn said the system made Revel more attractive to customers.

“Flowstate footage is top tier and what’s really great, you don’t have to do anything but surf to get all your clips,” said Gunn. “No wristbands, watches, or devices. We film, you grab your clips. There is no better way to catch all your waves and get the ‘good ones’. Watching yourself surf is the best way to work on progression and what’s really rad is being able to watch it on our patio after your session.”
