Industry: Victoria Gosling signs on with Lost Shore Surf Resort

GB Surfing chief Victoria Gosling OBE has been appointed as a non-executive director at Lost Shore Surf Resort. The resort, set to open this Autumn, will feature Europe’s largest wave pool and luxury accommodation within a 60-acre country park.

Victoria, also chair of GB Surfing and a board director of the British Olympic Association, brings experience in working with high-performance athletes and sport governing bodies. She is currently CEO of GB Snowsport and chairperson of the Rugby Centurions Foundations.

Victoria expressed excitement for the growth of surfing in the UK and the potential that the surf park brings to the area.

“It is an incredibly exciting time for surfing here in the UK, with Olympic inclusion having a huge impact on broadening the sport’s wider public appeal, and the rising number of wave pools increasing accessibility to surfable waves for all abilities,” said Victoria. “Paired with the community focus of Lost Shore Surf Resort and their academic collaboration with Edinburgh Napier University, joining the Board was an opportunity that I could not pass up. I can’t wait to get started and look forward to working with Andy Hadden and Andy Roger to see this vision come to reality.”
