It must be Wrapped season: England’s favorite wave pool pushes out 1.6million waves and 2,555 plates of poached eggs
Launched nearly a decade ago, Spotify’s year-end Wrapped feature has become quite the pop-culture phenomenon. The list allows listeners to showcase their unique music tastes to friends, family, and internet strangers. It’s hours of listening boiled down, then polished into a shiny social media diamond for the TikTok set.
Caught up in the online maelstrom, The Wave in Bristol released their own Wrapped list. Instead of becoming just a cheeky one-off, the list provided quite a bit of insight. While french fries unsurprisingly topped the list of post-surf food items, we assumed a british beer would hit top beverage. Nope. Flat white (or a short latte to Americans) hit the number one beverage spot – an indication that this wave park is capitalizing on its use as a remote work space.
I love the preparation for our ‘Wrapped’ list as the team dig out all sorts of great stats about our customers and the fantastic year we’ve had at The Wave,” said CEO Hazel Geary.
