São Paulo’s newest wave pool already under construction
São Paulo, Brazil, will become home to a new sports lifestyle club featuring the world’s largest Wavegarden Cove. Named Beyond The Club, the expansive project, covering over 100,000 square meters, is currently under construction and is slated to open in the first quarter of 2025. The club will be located just 15 minutes from Faria Lima, near the Transamerica Bridge, providing easy access from the city center.
The largest Wavegarden Cove to date, consisting of 62 modules, will be the centerpiece of the club, complemented by a sandy beach and a wide range of facilities for sports, recreation, and cultural activities.
Two-time world surf champion Filipe Toledo has signed on as an ambassador for Beyond The Club. In this role, Toledo will contribute to surf coaching programs and events, aiming to enhance the guest experience.
Following a recent session at Praia da Grama, Toledo shared his enthusiasm for the Beyond The Club project.
“This is a visionary project, and I am proud to be a part of it,” said Toledo. “I never really imagined that technology would evolve to this level in my lifetime. But it has, and it is even being done in a sustainable way, which is great to know.”
The developers behind Brazil’s first inland surfing destination, Praia da Grama, are also the visionaries of Beyond The Club. Oscar Segalls, CEO at KSM Realty, recognized the potential in partnering with Brazil’s premier surfer.
“Beyond The Club is a unique project, different from traditional options and different from anything that presently exists,” explained Segalls. “Filipe is the epitome of what this project is about. It’s about surfing, lifestyle, fun, and family values. We are all very happy to have him on our team and look forward to a long and meaningful relationship.”
The partnership with Toledo is expected to elevate the profile of Beyond The Club and contribute to its mission of combining surfing with a comprehensive lifestyle experience.
