The Wave Bristol to reopen next week

England is emerging from COVID lockdown as cases decrease nationwide. On March 29 the country will announce new easements of controls with more announcements on April 12, assuming the country meets coronavirus targets.

In line with the nationwide reopening, Bristol’s favorite surf spot will open its doors on March 29.

“Lockdown has been challenging in different ways, and at different times, for all of us, but at last it feels like there is light at the end of the tunnel,” the company said in a statement. “We are getting set to reopen our doors and just can’t wait to welcome you back – we’re not sure we have ever needed to see, hear and ride the waves quite as much as we do now!”

For now, The Wave will only accept customers through pre-booking and will follow all COVID safe guidelines (masks, social distancing and hand sanitizer). The cafe will only do takeaway food until April 12 when more of England relaxes rules even further.

“We are one of the first attractions to be able to open under the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown and we will be operating under Covid restrictions,” said the company.

The Wave released a special promo video ushering in the new season.
