Rolex sister company Tudor has decided to extend its partnership with URBNSURF. In an announcement this week the watch favored by the likes of David Beckham and Lady Gaga, named the Sydney location as its latest partnership beneficiare.

After several years in Melbourne, Tudor said it would back URBNSURF’s new location in Sydney. TUDOR will now also be the official timekeeping partner of the Sydney wave pool, which celebrated its grand opening in May.

“This partnership extension underscores Tudor’s commitment to supporting innovative and adventurous enterprises that align with its brand ethos,” said Tudor. “The partnership between Tudor and URBNSURF is a natural fit, as both brands are driven by a passion for precision, performance, and pushing boundaries.”

The watch company added that the timepiece collection resonates with the spirtit of adventure and excellence found at wave pools around the world.

“Tudor and URBNSURF are a perfect fit, Tudor’s reputation for precision and excellence complements our commitment to delivering exceptional surfing experiences,” said URBNSURF CEO, Jennifer Vandekreeke. “Together across both of our wave parks, we will continue to inspire surfers of all levels to push their limits and enjoy the thrill of mastering the perfect wave.”

URBNSURF Sydney is the second surf park opened by the URBNSURF Group, located in Sydney Olympic Park. It uses Wavegarden technology to produce over 400 waves per hour for guests. The facility includes dining options such as Sandy’s and RAFI URBNSURF, as well as conferencing facilities and event spaces. The Point can accommodate up to 36 surfers, offering a variety of turn and barreling waves for experienced surfers. For beginners, The Bays provides gentle white-water waves and can host up to 32 guests in a safe environment. Tudor’s partnership includes timekeeping solutions and support for URBNSURF’s event series, including licensed WSL Regional Qualifying events.
