Win a Surf & Stay at Edinburgh’s Lost Shore Surf Resort – Here’s How

Lost Shore Surf Resort, Europe’s largest inland surf destination, has reported strong visitor numbers since its opening on November 11, 2024. Located in Ratho, just outside Edinburgh and five minutes from the airport, the facility has welcomed thousands of surfers to its artificial wave pool, with over half of visitors participating in beginner surf lessons.

The resort, which is projected to host more than 160,000 visitors annually and contribute up to £20 million to the local economy, has launched a new “Surf and Stay” package to accommodate the growing demand for surf tourism in Scotland. As part of the launch, Lost Shore Surf Resort has partnered with Loganair for a Fly, Surf & Stay giveaway. The competition offers one winner a two-night stay for up to four guests, including flights with Loganair, two surf sessions per person, accommodation in a Waterfront Lodge, and £400 in resort credit for dining, wellness treatments, shopping, and the SurfSkate Academy.

Lost Shore Surf Resort utilizes Wavegarden technology to create consistent artificial waves, offering a controlled environment for all skill levels. The facility, which serves as a key attraction for indoor surfing in Scotland, continues to see increased demand from European and international visitors seeking year-round surfing opportunities.

“Over half of our visitors so far have been beginner surfers, highlighting the increasing interest in learning to surf,” said Andy Hadden, Founder of Lost Shore Surf Resort. “Our Surf and Stay package is designed to provide a seamless experience for surfers of all levels, whether they are trying artificial wave pools for the first time or refining their skills in a high-performance setting.”

Beyond surfing, guests can access various on-site amenities, including waterfront dining at Canteen, the SurfSkate Academy, wellness treatments, and the Spear Sauna.
