All I want for Christmas is a job at Alaïa Bay
Consider this: Even if only half of the surf park projects on the WavePoolMag App come to fruition, it still represents more than 5000 jobs in the next 3-5 years. And we just found a few dream positions for anyone serious about working in the space.
Switzerland’s best surf spot just put out a call to fill three positions. This is your chance to work at one of the world’s premier wave pools. The three positions available are: Coordinator Surf Experience/Sales, Coordinator corporate/VIP Experience and Guest Experience/ Sales.
There’s a steep learning curve to the ins and outs of wave pools, especially the nuances in each different surf park. Any experience in the field is extremely valuable to a potential employer. Job postings are in French, so rudimentary comprehension is necessary to get in. But, hey, you’re smart, you’ll learn quickly. Alaia Bay’s Surf Operations Coordinator Giovanni Piro learned enough French in five months to secure his position.
