YouTube alpha Casey Neistat carved out his online career with honest, unfiltered views of the world around him. The entrepreneur with 12 million YouTube subscribers packages these vignettes into cinematic episodes that take viewers behind the scenes of his unusual daily life. So when Casey went to the Palm Springs Surf Club, he documented it not as the latest rad surf spot, but as a visit to an abandoned waterpark. Consequently, we get a glimpse of the PSSC that’s left out of the curated social media posts.

Frustrated with trying to surf the wave with Jamie O’Brien and crew, Casey embarks on a tour of the abandoned waterpark. He shows us a surreal world of dead-end waterslides and ghostly concession stands. It’s both eery and beautiful.
