Sydney joins Melbourne in surf helmet partnership

URBNSURF announced this week the extension of its partnership with Simba Action Sports to exclusively supply free helmets for guests at URBNSURF Sydney. The company said the move to supply free helmets highlights URBNSURF’s commitment to prioritising surf safety and enhancing the guest experience.

The move follows the successful roll out of the Simba/URBN partnership at URBNSURF Melbourne where Simba Action Sports originally provided water sports helmets. The companies found an increasing number of guests used the design for their wave pool sessions.

“We are delighted to extend our partnership with Simba Action Sports”, said James Miles, Head of Sales & Partnerships of URBNSURF Group. “Safety is paramount in our operations, and Simba Action Sports have consistently delivered premium quality helmets that align with our mission to create the safest possible environment while enhancing guest experience.”

The companies said that working together they can continue to promote a culture of safety and responsibility within the surf park and broader surfing community.

Madi Katz, Head of Marketing of Simba Action Sports said they thrilled to extend the partnership with URBNSURF, especially in a surf-centric city like Sydney.

“By providing guests with the highest quality helmets, we aim to empower them to push their limits while staying safe in the water,” said Madi Katz.
