Sydney surf park marks fourth venue using Flowstate video capture system
Surfers can now get their surf sessions filmed, edited, grouped and delivered in minutes after their session at URBNSURF Sydney.
With a successful year of Flowstate operations at URBNSURF Melbourne’s Wavegarden Cove pool, the Flowstate team were able to install cameras and turn the solution on with little requirement for optimisation.
“It’s a testament to the team and the technology we’ve created that we can just turn up, turn it on and it works,” said Luke Wallace, CEO of Flowstate. “The data we’ve now collected from multiple wavepools and wave making technologies continues to accelerate the learning of our AI models which is the foundation of our future product roadmap.”
The URBNSURF team is now the first operator globally to open and run two independent wave pool venues. The company took years of data and learnings from their Melbourne operations and created a new, and highly sought-after venue in Sydney.
According to Flowstate, in just hours of operations, over 100 surfers have claimed 235 surf session videos.
Last month Flowstate announced the addition of venues across America to include three new wave technologies. The Flowstate AI model is now trained for with citywave, PerfectSwell and Wavegarden Cove technologies.
