“Massage the Google Beast” was the advice of one SEO consultant. So we have compiled a Top 10 list of the wave pool world’s best stories. Why? Because “Top 10” and “Best” are lightning-in-a-bottle keywords (just like Hot, Quick, Fast & New) that search engines love. Controlling 90% of online searches, Google writes the rules for how content and companies are found online. Just for the heck of it, we decided to view WavePoolMag strictly through this Google lens. Taking their analytics data for WavePoolMag, we compiled the below “Top Ten” list as ranked by the web crawlers. In doing so we discovered a pattern: Web searches heavily favor content about new pools, new technologies, the surf park industry and surfers planning a wave pool surf trip. To ensure visibility in first page search results we lavishly applied keywords to keep the web crawler robots interested. Sydney wave pool launches, URBNSURF delights in their second venue
The company launched Melbourne in 2020 and has been working steadily to bring Sydney online. Many of the finer points of surf park operation learned in Melbourne, have been applied to the Sydney location. The launch also marks URBNSURF as the only company at the moment to own and operate more than one surf park location.
